APV attended the 51st annual Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL. I/ITSEC is the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference, with an estimated 2,000 attendees from 70 countries. I/ITSEC promotes cooperation in support of learning and simulation technologies, methods, processes and systems, to identify common issues; to address national needs in training, simulation and education; and to develop solutions to problems in these areas. I/ITSEC is known for its peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, professional workshops, exhibits, serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. 1 The National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) organizes I/ITSEC and is an affiliate subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). 2 For this reason, I/ITSEC also emphasizes themes related to defense and security, and has a substantial Department of Defense presence from multiple service branches: Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps, and Army. APV met with government, industry, and academia experts as we continually expand our knowledge and footprint in the modeling and simulation field. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet with our partners and clients and to share new technologies and approaches,” says APV CTO, Sudhakar Gududuri.
