APV was invited to present one of APV’s core capabilities in Application development at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) vendor outreach session. APV is proud to have supported WSSC for the past four years on various initiatives and was thrilled to be part of a great networking event. The event was very well planned and provided great opportunities for vendors to meet IT managers at WSSC.

APV attended the 51st annual Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL. I/ITSEC is the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference, with an estimated 2,000 attendees from 70 countries. I/ITSEC promotes cooperation in support of learning and simulation technologies, methods, processes and systems, to identify common issues; to address national needs in training, simulation and education; and to develop solutions to problems in these areas.

APV attended the 63rd Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2017 Annual Meeting and Exposition held in Washington, DC. As a professional development forum, the event included military technology on display, panel discussions, seminars, and industry products and services. "The event reinforces our commitment to preparing mission-ready Soldiers through innovative training and education solutions," shared Rachel LaVoie, APV's Director of Business Development.

APV is pleased to announce an award from the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) to develop an Air Traffic Control Operator – IFR Services course for the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) at Fort Rucker, AL. APV is developing this online course with interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) at levels 1-3, including 3D modeling. APV is delighted to support USAACE’s mission through developing highly interactive distributed learning content for a virtual training environment.

APV has secured a win from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for a multiyear operations and maintenance contract on the VICP/CICP Injury Compensation System (ICS). The ICS is administered by the Healthcare Systems Bureau (HSB) for vaccine and countermeasure injury compensation case management. APV is proud to support HRSA in its vital role assisting millions of Americans with access to quality, affordable health care and other services through HRSA’s 90+ programs and 3,000+ grantees.

APV has been awarded a task order on OPM and GSA’s IDIQ, Human Capital and Training Solutions Small Business (HCaTS SB) Pool 1 for FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) Office of Business Informatics. The contract is to enhance FDA Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) platform strategic communication, stakeholder outreach, and user training. This marks APV’s first win on the newly awarded HCaTS contract. “We are thrilled to further partner with FDA CDER in supporting its mission,” says APV president, Nandita Gududuri.

APV was honored to present at the recent CMS Survey and Certification Group (SCG) 2017 Training Coordinators’ Training in Annapolis, MD. APV's president, Nandita Gududuri, accompanied APV’s presenters Cherie McGovern, Executive Director of Instructional Programs, and Bayley Hochradel, Senior Instructional Systems Developer, as they shared ways that trainers can engage learners and enhance learning outcomes. Specific topics included the advantages of microlearning, mistakes to avoid, and approaches for success.

Effective September 6, 2017, GSA awarded A P Ventures a contract award on GSA’s Professional Services Schedule (PSS) for business consulting solutions. This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule provides direct access to simple or complex fixed-price or labor-hour professional services.

A P Ventures is pleased to announce an award from FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) to provide recruiting support services. As part of APV’s human capital solutions, we are excited to help the FDA achieve its mission through the identification of qualified and experienced research analysts, computer scientists, and other vital roles. APV will apply its strategic human capital approach and proven vetting processes as we analyze talent in the DC metro region to best support this important government agency.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has awarded a contract to APV for a year-long project to develop online professional learning for social studies teachers and school administrators. DoDEA provides K-12 education for the dependents of military and military-related personnel across the U.S. and around the world. The project includes developing 28 online model units on social studies content and skills, as well as administrator modules and Community of Practice support.

APV has been awarded a contract for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) to develop a comprehensive learning and knowledge management strategy and implementation protocol. Included in the scope is the development and maintenance of a digital knowledge library and training content. This online library will have advanced search engine capabilities and provide a gateway to CMMI’s knowledge base and existing training resources. APV is developing the platform and creating new blended learning training content for CMMI’s 400 employees and stakeholders.

On June 13, 2017, GSA awarded A P Ventures a contract award on GSA’s 8(a) STARS II GWAC. This small business set-aside GWAC provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners, and provides a faster alternative to time-consuming and costly full and open competitions.

January 10, 2017 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures today announced that it has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. The appraisal was performed by Qminds Consulting Global Private Limited.

CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.

May 17, 2016 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures (APV) has been awarded the Human Capital and Training Solutions Small Business (HCaTS SB) government-wide Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA-IDIQ) task order contract vehicle, as announced today by the General Services Administration (GSA). The HCaTS SB IDIQ is the result of a partnership between the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and GSA to provide next-generation training and development, human capital, and organizational performance improvement services to federal agencies.

October 20, 2015 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures (APV) has launched the first phase of STARTALK, a web portal of the National Foreign Language Center.

July 30, 2015 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures has completed an interactive, online Financial Literacy course to be offered as part of the Maryland State Department of Education’s Maryland Virtual Learning Opportunities (MVLO) program for public high school students across the state.

July 25, 2015 – Columbia, MD – A new online course titled, “Introduction to Video Game Design and Development” was recently created by Columbia-based firm A P Ventures for the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). The new course was successfully piloted this past spring and will be available statewide for public high school students this fall.

July 20, 2015 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures has completed a project-based online Environmental Science course as part of the Maryland State Department of Education’s online high school course offerings.

July 1, 2015 – Columbia, MD – A P Ventures has been awarded as a prime on an IDIQ contract by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), to provide support for the CMS Survey and Certification Group (SCG) National Surveyor Training Program (NSTP).

CMS-NSTP is a multiple award indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity contract (IDIQ). The IDIQ has a base term of one year, four one-year option periods, and a total ceiling value for all awardees of $200 million. A total of 13 companies received awards under the IDIQ.
