On September 16, 2019 the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, awarded A P Ventures LLC two direct award contracts to support the Air University’s (AU) Squadron Officers School (SOS) and the eSchool of Graduate Professional Military Education (eGPME). The SOS educates U.S. Air Force (USAF) captains and civilian equivalents in a six-week in-residence course. By comparison, the eSchool of eGPME is a 100-percent distance-learning course available to USAF officers and civilian equivalent personnel from lieutenant through colonel.
Upon winning the work, APV President Nandita Gududuri said, “We are honored to be awarded these two AU contracts. APV looks forward to applying our considerable adult education expertise to help the SOS and eSchool clients sustain and enhance their current courses and develop new and engaging content.” Both courses train USAF personnel across the globe, and the active and reserve components.
The two IDIQ contracts contain options for up to three years of support and are APV’s first awards at Maxwell AFB, AL. Today APV also is supporting the USAF at Tyndall AFB, FL, providing instructional systems design and subject matter expertise to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s resident and distance-learning courses in Fire Fighting.
