APV Stands Out in Winning Recompete for Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS)

Columbia, MD, – A P Ventures, LLC (APV) is pleased to announce its recent competitive win to continue to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). APV will provide the Medicare Plan Payment Group (MPPG) with subject matter expertise, training, and technical assistance on risk adjustment and encounter data policy and operations for the Medicare Part C and Part D programs.

Under the previous contract, APV successfully implemented many enhancements to the Consolidated Support Services program. These included highly interactive, self-paced training modules on a variety of topics; support for the Salesforce-based inquiry management system; hosting, registering, and facilitating training events; and expert program management support to the front-end and back-end Encounter Data Systems. APV has played a pivotal role in standardizing and significantly improving and modernizing communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.

For the new contract, APV will expand on the services provided under the first contract by adding technical assistance in the recovery of risk adjustment overpayments and assistance in drafting standard operating procedures, which will preserve program knowledge and promote business process consistency and efficiency.

APV is excited to lend its technical expertise to support CMS in its vision to innovate healthcare payments to make lives better.
