Cherie McGovern leads APV’s eLearning programs as Executive Director of Instructional Programs. She is a creative, resourceful manager committed to the successful execution of each project and company initiative. She is exceptionally skilled at maintaining client engagement throughout the process by being relentless about meeting clients' needs. She effectively builds client loyalty and generates return business.
With 25 years of experience in the field of education, Cherie offers clients a wealth of knowledge in program management, course development, instruction, instructional design, and eLearning. From creative solutions to storyboards to curriculum maps, she knows how to ensure that all content created aligns with content goals. She has a proven ability to ensure that activities keep learners interested and lead to better job performance.
Cherie earned her Master of Education degree with a concentration in Education Technology from Goucher College and her BA from Notre Dame University of Maryland. In addition, she holds the following certifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and ITIL Foundation V3.
