As the Training and Development Program Director at APV, Gayle Griffin provides leadership and strategic guidance for the firm’s training and development service offerings and client service delivery. Her role is critical to the current and future growth of APV as she supports capture activities, fosters and maintains vendor/partner relationships, attends outreach and industry events, conferences and networking activities. Dr. Griffin oversees a team of program managers who deliver high quality work to APV clients and achieve project operational and financial targets for their engagements. Lastly, she provides training and development subject matter expertise to continuously innovate APV service offerings to drive growth and client satisfaction.
Dr. Griffin is a senior level human capital, project management, change management, and organizational strategy professional with over 30 years of internal and external consulting and leadership experience. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in leading Federal Government project delivery, capture and business development, proposals, and leading teams of project managers to meet and exceed business goals. She is a strong business leader and functional expert in delivering human capital, training and development, change management and organizational strategy to Federal Government clients. Dr. Griffin delivers results in project portfolio management, government contract management, financial management, leading multiple project teams, developing people, providing functional expertise and being a trusted senior human capital advisor for clients.
Gayle lives in Kensington, Maryland and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in business administration, and a doctorate in human and organizational studies and adult learning. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). When she is not working, she spends time training for dog sport competitions with her two German Shepherd Dogs, Chico and Ginger.
