John Good is a PMP-certified project manager and scrum master. He has been with APV since 2017 and has over 20 years IT industry experience.
In his role as Program Director, John is a founding member of the team’s Program Management Office (PMO), providing leadership and oversight to APV’s project managers. He also sits on the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), which defines and implements standardized project management processes used throughout the company.
As a Program Manager, John is known for developing exceptional client relationships and leading distributed, diverse, cross-functional teams to success in complex, demanding environments. He has delivered projects using various technologies, including custom .NET applications, SharePoint, Drupal, Ektron, and other platforms.
John has successfully delivered projects for a variety of federal agencies, including the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Civil Division. He also has many years of experience delivering public websites for a wide range of commercial, association, and nonprofit customers.
John is a detail-oriented, empathetic leader, facilitator, and communicator with a propensity for listening, coaching, and problem solving.
