Michael Preis serves as the Vice President of Operations at A P Ventures (APV), bringing over three decades of expertise in digital transformation, cloud modernization, AI-powered solutions, and automation. Michael has led large-scale IT modernization initiatives throughout his career across diverse industries, including transportation, industrial, financial services, and federal government sectors. Notably, he led a critical application modernization project for a major global airline enterprise and an award-winning cloud-based platform for an international insurance carrier. He has successfully delivered mission-critical programs in the federal space, including the HIGLAS solution at CMS, CBP ACE, and TSA’s Secure Flight. With a deep understanding of regulatory compliance (including FedRAMP and NIST) and a focus on innovation and cost efficiency, Michael has consistently delivered exceptional results for complex, high-stakes projects.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Loyola University Maryland and has achieved multiple project management and agile certifications.
