Ranjit Thomas serves as Director of FDA Growth & Partnership at APV, bringing more than 20 years of experience driving digital transformation, modernization, and strategic growth across federal health, government, consulting, and technology sectors.
Formerly a senior leader at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Ranjit led large-scale enterprise technology portfolios and partnered closely with executive leadership, industry stakeholders, and global regulatory partners to deliver high-impact modernization initiatives. His work implementing process automation, AI-enabled solutions, and data-centric regulatory approaches significantly reduced review timelines and improved operational efficiency.
Notably, he led the implementation of FDA’s generic drug review platform, reducing application review times from three years to ten months, and advanced the Knowledge-aided Assessment & Structured Application (KASA) initiative, leveraging AI and automation to streamline regulatory workflows and accelerate outcomes.
