As a Human Capital Program Director at APV, Ron drives future strategic growth in the Human Capital Management consulting practice and provides oversight of several task orders supporting the Department of Labor, Department of Homeland Security within the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO). He fosters growth and client satisfaction while continuously improving APV efficiency and service delivery through his leadership and subject matter expertise.
Ron is a retired Army Veteran and has served in various leadership roles in both the private and public sector. He brings 40 years of Human Capital Management professional experience leading and implementing large-scale, enterprise-wide Human Capital Programs in small, medium, and large agencies. His human capital management experience includes strategic planning, staffing and recruitment, pay and administration, organizational design and development, compensation, policy development, succession planning, human resources information technology, data analysis, strategic workforce planning including workforce re-shaping/restructuring. Ron is a proven and thoughtful leader with the ability to motivate teams, capitalize on individual strengths, and achieve agency strategic objectives.
Ron resides in Fredericksburg, VA with his lovely wife Sheborah Miller. During his spare time, he enjoys cheering for the Buffalo Bills, grilling, and spending quality time with his seven grandkids.
